VTTI is, by design, a widespread organisation; we aim to do business wherever our customers need reliable and professional terminal support. Indeed, to tour all of our terminals, projects and pipelines would require a trip of more than 35,000km.

We:

  • have interests in 11 countries and 5 continents
  • have capacity of more than 5,000,000 m3
  • load and discharge more than 6,000 vessels a year
  • are working on continual expansion which will give us capacity of 8,000,000 m3 by 2012
  • are building the most advanced pipeline in Europe, running 120km from Rotterdam to Amsterdam
  • are the first in ARA to deploy ship vapour recovery technology
  • are implementing uniform international standards wherever we operate
  • operate in -20 to 52 degrees Celsius

In fact:

  • our tanks have the capacity to hold 475 million footballs
  • you could fill 110,677 Boeing 747s with all the product flowing through our lines each year
  • if you filled one litre bottles with our 30 million tonne throughput, you could build a tower to the moon – 23 times over
  • 22 million DWT of vessels tie up at our jetties each year – the equivalent of 88 VLCCs
  • our employees include 25 different nationalities
