VNT’s status as a major trans-shipment terminal of choice was confirmed again in 2014.
Figures show that the facility handled 10.58 million tonnes of petroleum product during the year. This excellent performance built on 2013 – itself a productive year, when 9.64 million tonnes of cargo were trans-shipped.
Last year’s performance was in line with the terminal’s business plan, and primary commercial agreements continue to be in place.
In a region where strategic decisions are conducted by Russia over energy export paths, VNT continues to pursue an active programme of diversification.
For example, the terminal is the only facility in the region to offer butanisation of gasoline. The terminal continues expansion of its services such as loading of products in to road tankers and rail tank cars, extension of product types in its portfolio, adding further value to customers.
