Our Vitco terminal in Argentina has seen significant expansion and investment in recent years, and in fact the upgrades are continuing.

Roberto Ubaldo said: “We have recently added a new 10” piggable third line, and it’s making a big difference to the ways we can serve our customers.”

Connectivity is now more flexible between the tank farm and jetties, and we have also been able to optimise jetty occupancy. Operation times are faster as well: we recently offloaded one particular vessel in 9 hours – instead of the usual 21 hours when we had two lines.

Separately, we have upgraded the 35 year-old wooden supports of our product lines with modern concrete replacements. This is not only safer but improves maintenance as well.
