Overview:
This enviable location on the Indian Ocean, outside the Straits of Hormuz, sits at the entry and exit point of the Gulf. Fujairah is therefore excellently placed to serve the major bunker market there and offers VTTI a unique opportunity to develop refining on a world scale. This asset, which has already seen major expansion, is now planning an additional 1,000,000 m3 of capacity for early 2014. Its jetty flexibility and deep water means this asset can accommodate any size and type of vessel, and offers facilities for products right across the barrel. A holding of 10% is owned by the Government of Fujairah which also owns 100% of the port facilities.

Operator
The operator performs operational work relating to unloading and loading of sea-going vessels, barges, product pumping via pipelines, the storage and handling of products, the management of the tank farm and cleaning work so that, with due regard for the environmental and safety requirements / instructions, a fast and efficient service is provided both internally and externally.
