Overview:

In the summer of 2011, VTTI acquired a significant stake in the storage network Petrotank. In terms of depots, Petrotank is the largest oil storage operation in Germany with 23 sites, and the third largest in terms of tank volumes, with a capacity of about 1,000,000 m3.

Founded 47 years ago, Petrotank has a long track record of providing reliable product tanking and terminalling services. For VTTI’s customers, the Petrotank network enables them to move further down the German distribution chain and be closer to their own customers: the wholesalers and retailers.
