How would you describe your job?

I make sure that our customers get the best service. That we are always available when they need us. That our solutions are flexible. And any issue is investigated and resolved promptly.

What type of person do you need to be?

A people-person, flexible, accessible to your clients and colleagues. Always customer-oriented, open-minded to their requests and always looking at situations from all angles.

What are your most satisfying moments at work?

Going home knowing that I have given the customer the best possible experience. It’s a great feeling to know every issue has been covered and every loose end tied up.

Do any challenges stand out?

We introduced the first automated truck loading system in South Africa. We invested a lot of time ensuring that the drivers could work well with the new technology. This taught us how to optimise the system and minimise the gate-to-gate loading time.
