The new terminal in Port Qasim will be the leading independent storage terminal, ready to supply the growing domestic market. With this new terminal, we are making a significant contribution to improving Pakistan’s oil-related infrastructure and, thus, to strengthening the country’s energy security. This state-of-the-art terminal will be able to store furnace oil, high-speed diesel and motor spirit.
The terminal offers 21 truck-loading positions for local delivery and is also connected to the White Oil Pipeline, which transports clean oil products up country. The available third-party jetty can handle oil tankers up to 65.000 dwt. The terminal is expected to be commissioned by the end of the second quarter/ the beginning of the third quarter of 2018.
